CEO Message

　Hanya Seisakusho, headquartered in Obu City, Aichi Prefecture, has a long history of over 75 years. Our goal has always been to be a monozukuri manufacturer that our customers can trust. Beginning with our customers and suppliers, we have been able to count on the support of many people over our history, and for that we are profoundly grateful.

Our company was founded in 1936 as a manufacturer of bicycle parts. In the years since, we have worked steadfastly to raise our technology and improve product quality. We specialize in thick plate pressing, and have created integrated production systems for welding, painting, and assembly processes. Our strength is the manufacture of automobile suspension parts comprising multiple components. We currently operate two plants domestically, in Obu City and Handa City, Aichi Prefecture. We also have a factory in Hunan Province, China and provide technological support in Thailand.

 

Continuing to Support Our Customers

“How can we help our customers?” This question forms the basis of everything we do. It is, perhaps, an obvious goal, but one from which we never waver. Our company’s growth and the returns our employees enjoy all begin with this.

As times change, the way we support our customers changes, too. In this time of accelerated globalization, the key is to stay close to our customers as they expand abroad. Meanwhile, our mother factories in Japan provide our customers with added value that did not previously exist, though unflagging efforts and new technologies.

To achieve our goals, cultivating human assets is absolutely key. By taking on the technology and experience of our predecessors, advancing it, and passing it on to the next generation, we are able to continually meet the expectations of our customers. The expertise we inherit is the culture of Hanya--indeed, it is our very DNA.

Creating a New Technology

Our new fabrication technology, pre-mo-forging, was developed by us in response to customer needs. We built on the thick-plate pressing expertise that we have cultivated and developed a process in which we are able to match the precision finish of machining, but using only press fabrication. This new process is the fruit of Hanya’s technology and our dogged refusal to not give up, and try, try, and try again.

Going forward, we aim to further hone the technology and, in a few years, grow it into a core business that can rival our existing businesses. 

*2 Pre-mo-forging is an exclusive Hanya Seisakusho technology (patent pending) which enables us to take advantage of the flexibility of existing press machines while exceeding the precision of fine blanking presses, at a lower cost. The name comes from a combination of the words press, modeling, and forging.
